Open Space was a contemporary art exhibition conceived by Pallavicini Srl and curated by Giulia Di Terlizzi, hosted from February 5-8, 2026 in the frescoed halls of Palazzo Pallavicini in Bologna.

Open Space develops as a cultural platform capable of activating relationships between the works, the artists and the historic architecture that houses them, generating a continuous dialogue between memory and the present. The halls of Palazzo Pallavicini thus become a field of experimentation in which contemporaneity is called to measure itself against a strongly identity-based context, giving life to new readings and visual tensions.

The project proposed a confrontation between heterogeneous visions and languages through the works presented by the galleries AD Gallery (Florence), BiART Gallery (Bagnacavallo), Cat Gallery, Gianluca Ramini Arte Contemporanea (Castel San Pietro Terme), Musa Málaga Exclusive Experiences (Spain), UFOFABRIK Contemporary Art Gallery (Trento) and Wikiarte Gallery (Bologna).

Alongside the gallery selection were three Special Projects by Franco Perrotti, Julian T and Giuseppe Palumbo and a series of solo shows dedicated to Fabrizio “Bicio” Cadoppi, Ilda75, Laura Pagliai, Loretta Merenda, Manuel Binda, Marilena Tesei, Massimo Amadesi, Silvia Ingoglia (Ginger) and Tinamaria Marongiu.

The event was part of the official program of ART CITY Bologna 2026 and ART CITY White Night, on the occasion of Arte Fiera. During the opening days, three main appointments took place: the performative round table Carlo Levi 1973. Nel labirinto di Quaderno a Cancelli, the talk Real Ads and the meeting L’arte invisibile with Giuseppe Palumbo, in addition to guided tours of the Palace and the gallery stands curated by Mirarte with Ilaria Francia.
