For the first time, Courmayeur is opening its cultural venues in a coordinated manner to a widespread exhibition project, hosting one of the stages of Under the Starry Sky. Art exhibitions and cultures of the celestial space, an initiative curated by Fortunato D’Amico that networks different locations across the Aosta Valley, creating a dialogue between art, landscape, and reflection on the sky as a shared cultural heritage. The section dedicated to Franco Perrotti unfolds between the churchyard and the spaces of the Waldensian Church. Located in the square is Dissuader, a large wooden sculpture depicting a black wood pigeon. The work stems from the observation of devices used in cities to prevent birds from perching on buildings and introduces a reflection on the progressive control of contemporary airspace. Inside, ten ceramic Dissuaders, two mirrored busts, and an aluminum sculpture are on display. Together, they guide the visitor through a transformation leading from the dove of Noah’s Ark, a herald of peace and rebirth, to the urban bird, now repelled, monitored, and assimilated into the languages of defense. The Waldensian Church thus becomes the place where the spiritual meaning of flight meets the issues of the present, inviting reflection on the value of Preventive Peace.

FRANCO
PERROTTI
FROM OBJECT
TO VISION
Curated by Fortunato D’Amico
APRIL 20 – MAY 3, 2026
MyOwnGallery – via Tortona 27 Milan

From object to vision: Franco Perrotti transforms serial matter into an experience of the soul. Here, design meets craftsmanship to become a language, uniting use and perception in a perfect balance between artifice and nature. Surfaces, lights, and seating abandon function to become “vision.” They are no longer just furnishings, but bridges between the body and the environment, compasses that orient our collective behavior. The beating heart of the exhibition is Dissuader: a monumental metallic pigeon pierced by spikes, an icon of the invisible barriers that regulate our cities. In a sky crowded with drones and satellites, Perrotti’s work stirs us, transforming the technical project into a shared ethical responsibility. Art thus becomes a conscious practice of inhabiting: an invitation to rediscover beauty and respect in the space we share. Form is no longer just structure, but a new consciousness of living.
OPEN SPACE
5 – 8 February 2026
Bologna, Palazzo Pallavicini – Via San Felice, 24
The works of Franco Perrotti will be exhibited at the Open Space exhibition in Bologna. The exhibition, whose title evokes the idea of an open physical and conceptual space, develops as a cultural platform capable of activating relationships between the works, the artists and the historic architecture that houses them. The halls of Palazzo Pallavicini thus become a field of experimentation in which contemporaneity is called upon to measure itself against a strongly identity-based context, giving rise to new readings and visual tensions.

BAF Bergamo Arte Fiera
Franco Perrotti’s Dissuader has the appearance of a pigeon. It is a monumental sculpture suspended above our heads that stirs the fears of our thoughts, increasingly confused and fragmented, in an era of tensions and uncertainties about the future of humanity…

SOME
PROJECTS
Anyone designing a work must be aware that the result is to be shared with the client, a fundamental figure for the realization of the project. Rude Bravo is aware of this premise. The client is not merely the one who finances the work, but shares it and lays the foundations to realize it.
